What if your temperature gauge is showing too hot over 195 degrees Fahrenheit?
then you better stop and let it cool down
Your check engine light came on and the code was coolant temperature too low but the gauge was showing between 170 and 180 on 2003 trailblazer?
Temperature At Which Water Changes into gas Water molecules can change their status from liquid to gas (evaporation) at any temperature over 0 Celsius degrees. Water molecules can change their status from solid to gas (sublimation) at any temperature below 0 Celsius degrees. At sea level water boils 212 Fahrenheit or 100 celsius. When water boils, all its molecules change their status from liquid to gas. Water (H20) in liquid form at sealevel (where the…
Why does outside temp gauge register 127 degrees at all times and heat will work only if electronic temp control set at 90 degrees?
Answer Every time the temperature gauge picks up a temperature of 37 degrees Fahrenheit or lower it will give you this notification. Although I am not exactly sure why this occurs at 37 degrees, it could serve as a warning of changing road conditions based on cold whether or simply a notification telling you its cold. I think it is a tribute to Paddy Hopkirk's 1964 win at Monte Carlo in his mini copper #37!
The temperature gauge is a relative indicator. The gauges on American cars are notorious for reading different on the same make and model even though conditions are the same. Unless you have the repair manual for the vehicle with details on the temperature marks on the gauge tied to degrees on F or C (absolute) you have to rely on the simplified hot or cold indications.
measuring how effective your air conditioning is at the supply air diffusers will not be an accurate gauge of it's function. The temperature measurements should be taken just above and below the evaporator coil. The return temperature (below the coil, if not possible, then upstream of the blower) should be 15-20 degrees Fahrenheit higher then the supply temperature. Keep in mind that this temperature difference is affected by the blower speed as much as it…
What kind of temperature gauge? If it is a bodily thermometer, the thermometers probably have a maximum temperature they can actually measure, that or whoever designed them knew that above a certain temperature you would just be dead, and thus instead of reading 150 degrees it just says hot. I can't think of another thermometer that would just read out "hot".
the difference is that precipitation only happens outdoors and temperature happens both inside and outside! here is a little chart for you of differences: precipitation temperature ____________ ___________ measured using measured using rain gauge thermometer rain, snow, hail, sleet Fahrenheit and Celsius
