Depend on who your on about

The

SS officers/guards or the prisoners at Auschwitz

well i tell both anyway

The impacts towards the SS man their and the guards was nothing much because they was indutrinated to believe that Jews were evil, fillthy and greedy, whiles Germany was a superior aryan race. The guards and ss men their actully had wild partie, eithen if they killed some people that day But befor the gas chambers was used in Auschwitz, their was shootings and some people who done the shootings went mentally insane and some did commit suicidem thats why gas chambers was used, also the bullets was too expensive and left a bloody mess.

On the prisoners their, it was tottaly the oppisite, People was scared for their lives, Being totured or/and hearing others being tortued or killed was seriously hurtful and unbarrible for the prisoners their. Most people starved themselves to death because they were scared of being gased to death.

What was the history of the Auschwitz?

Auschwitz I is located in Poland, and was originally used as a prison for the "outcasts of life" such as people with disabilities, deformities, gypsies, homosexuals and Jews (unfortunately, of course). Auschwitz II - Birkenau was started in 1941 and was larger and more "deadly and famous" than Auschwitz I. Auschwitz II is what most people referr to when they say "Auschwitz". Auschqitz III - Monowitz was a chemical plant where most of the workers were slave labourers. It is in use as a chemicals factory. Tours for the public are held at the remains of Auschwitz I and II. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auschwitz
