The main impact that melting glaciers have is that the sea level rises. If all the glaciers in the world melt, the rise in sea level will be very substantial and will cause massive flooding of coastal regions. That would cause a very big impact.
Glaciers effect the environment by moving across land and making valleys.
1. Carve away land 2. Islands made out of sand 3. Basins and lakes
creates balance between hot and cold temperatures and glaciers erosion creates lanforms. and keeps water levels at rest and balance
create land forms
produce 10% of the worlds fresh water
The glaciers may make islands, for example Long island was created by a glacier.Or some times it can miss place boulders.Thats all I know :p
There are two general groups of topography: land and water. Land topography includes, but is not limited to, hills, valleys, and mountains. Water topography consists solely of water.

There are four main kinds of changes that can affect the earth's surface: 1)Earthquake 2)Flood 3)Valcano 4)Temperature
A map is not a three dimensional representation of earth's surface. The best three dimensional representation of earth's surface is a globe or a topographical map.

Continental deflections, the Coriolis effect and global winds all effect surface ocean currents.

Mount Rainier has three glaciers.
The three factors which control surface currents are the following:Global windsContinental deflection and temperatureThe Coriolis effect
