For the average person, i would say it's negligible. The chemicals you breathe are probably at much greater percentages in your body from your day to day activities. Modern pesticides are designed to break down on their own which is why repeated apps. are necessary. Toxicity is determined by body weight & it would be hard for anyone to accidentally consume a large enough amount to do any harm even when eating treated produce that has not been washed. Pesticides are being used less and less & radiation more & more. Someone suffering from exposure (an applicator for example) will actually recover on his/her own over time with no treatment needed unless poisoning is acute. Many modern pesticides have so little active ingredient, your stomach is actually not large enough to hold a lethal amount. For some of the more potent products like rodenticides there is an antidote & is the same for all & is safety dyed so it is obviously not food.

Should chemical pesticides be banned?

Chemical pesticides harm the ecosystem, the environment, and could be harmful to humans; however, without them, we would not be able to produce enough food for the current population. The best alternative is to put more energy into finding natural pesticides (such as garlic oil) which don't harm the environment, but keep insects from ruining the crops, and to make those natural pesticides available before banning chemical pesticides.

What is chemical control?

What is the chemical equation for pesticides?

There isn't a single chemical equation for pesticides, as they can be composed of different active ingredients.
