Pretty much anyone would take the time to improve WikiAnswers, such as yourself, because merely asking a question is spending time to improve WikiAnswers. Everyone you see on WikiAnswers spends their time improving WikiAnswers - otherwise they wouldn't be here.
WikiAnswers cannot read your mind to see why you might like to do something. You'll have to figure out why you want to work there yourself.
One improvement I'd like to see - is the categories listed alphabetically - It would make it much easier to find things !
The Head would be Ganderton, The Community Manager here at WikiAnswers. See The Related Link for his profile.
Yiy would have to apply for the job at wikianswer and see if you can get hired.
If you contact Ganderton about a mentor, he will pair you up with someone. If you would like to see a list of all of our current mentors, see the question in the related questions part of this answer.
You do not advertise at WikiAnswers, what you can do is have links to your website via your user profile. WikiAnswers is starting to utilize Google AdWords on its site, so if you would like to advertise in the answers, my advice to you is to open an AdWords account. See the related link below for the Answers Cloud Services page where companies can request information on how to advertise there business on WikiAnswers.
Updated Constantly, Second by Second WikiAnswers is entirely user driven. A Wiki is open to change and update by nearly anyone. People like you are constantly asking and answering questions, and making other edits and improvements. To see the latest changes on a particular question, click on the "Question history" link in the blue box (on the left of the page) in the "Question tools" area.

I hate to say this but - as far as I'm concerned, the biggest improvement WikiAnswers could make is - block contributions from 'anonymous' public web-sites. We get more vandalism from school-kids and others hiding behind anonymous web-sites, than from registered users. Preventing access from unregistered users would drastically reduce the amount of 'trash' we have to deal with.Yes - I know this is probably against the Wiki concept of openness - but as I said - it's just my opinion !
What you do is get an account on wikianswers. By getting an account you can track the question and you will be notified if the question is answered or altered by receiving an email from wikianswers. You can then come back to the site to see your question. Join wikianswers today!
