Two of those structures are the Capitol Building and the White House.
My butt was a great contribution.
Most likely you will have state, federal or local government buildings in your area. If you look at the building ( in most cases) you will see items related to ancient Greece. There usually is a portal, ironic columns, and the building is made or covered to have the look of marble or stone. Much of Washington DC is designed to look like buildings from ancient Greece since Greece was the home of the first democracy. Take your pick of the Jefferson memorial, the Lincoln memorial or the White House to see this "federalist" sytle.
This question is really an opinion, but I would say that it would have to be Greece because Greece layed down the foundations for both of the other civilizations. Actually no, it didn't. Greece was a Democracy where the people ran the government and Rome was actually a Republic with representatives. Considering the U.S. government is a Democratic Republic, I would have to say Rome and Greece influenced the country's government.
Everyone voted on everything. In our government we elect representatives to decide things for us. In ancient Greece, the people made the decisions. Though only free, white men over age 21 could vote.
The golden age of Greece was under Pericles who was an enlightened dictator.
Get a Greek to suck your balls for 1 Euro so they can feed their poor, starving, homeless family in Greece while the rest of their family riot in front of the government building in Athens, Greece untill the corrupt Greek government which made Greece bankrupt give the people rioting in front of the government building in Athens, Greece 1 Euro so they can feed their starving, homless and poor family in Greece. And Greeks are Albanian's and Turkish btw.
People in ancient greece got elected by making the athenian citizen vote. For the assembly Government the one only men could go into to....they picked people randomly. but for the Council...they made athenian citizens vote...and they picked 500 people
It made it hard to grow some types of crops back then and ancient Greece was a peninsula(look it up)
