XP. It's easier to work with than 7 in my opinion.
Vista is bugged beyond comprehension.
Version 2.6 in my opinion.
The best Windows 9x Is Windows 98. However after that it's Windows XP. Although this is a matter of opinion, this is what the poll's have said. Windows 7 is getting some good reviews but it hasn't bee around long enough to be evaluated as seriously as XP.
In my opinion, Windows Movie Maker v2.6 is best. But, if you have Windows Xp, the only Movie Maker version the operating system supports is v2.1.
In my opinion, Windows Movie Maker.
That is all opinion based.
The free 2.6 version of Windows Movie Maker or Magix Movie Edit Pro 16 (a purchased program). Just my opinion though.
The best would have to be AVG. It is fully compatible with any version of Vista and its security is top notch. (This is not my opinion, im going on compatibility and effectiveness).
Windows for workgroups. Best OS out there
Windows XP gamer edition ?
The best place to start is windowsupdate.com, if you current version of windows (down to xp service pack 2) is current enough windows update should do the trick for you. If you have an older version of windows you will probably want to buy a newer version of windows and start from scratch.
The last version of Windows Media Player that will run on Windows 98 is WMP9. WinAmp 5.35 is the last version of WinAmp to support Windows 98. The last version of VLC to support Windows 98 (officially) is 0.8.6. The latest version of Media Player Classic still supports Windows 98.
The best place to find Windows XP, the professional version, would be on the Microsoft site. Or, one could purchase a copy at an electronics store such as Best Buy.
