well it's very easy to determine. The incidents and events were fears of not wanting to do their own work nor study. The south was correct in these fears because you had to waste your time in trying to cheat and not do your own homework.

I'd just like to say that sometime homework is either gruelingly long or nearly impossible. I had an assignment where I had to virtually write 35 essays and this was one of the prompts, and if you don't remember the era for any of the essay questions it's near impossible to do. So please don't be rude and waste people's time answering answers in such a USELESS way.

The failure of the Mexican-American war, Bleeding Kansas, the Lecompton Constitution's lack of effectiveness, and other generally disunionizing factors affected the hostility felt by the South. The South was correct, obviously, by the fact that it lead to a Civil War (over state's rights, yes, but states rights about SLAVES).

What stereotypes were often applied to people living in the south?

-They have accents -They all live on farms -The girls are blonde and stupid (Belles, they're called) -They have farmer's tans -They don't have any big cities -They can ride horses really early in life -They swim in creeks before they can walk Now I was born in the south and I know this stuff isn't true, but that's what some of my Northern friends think.

Why do some white people dislike black people?

For the same reason some black people dislike white people. It greatly depends upon the amount (and type) of exposure that a person experienced while growing up from childhood to adulthood. Most people are not inherently racist, even if someone had racist parents growing up, they could still become individuals that despise racism and are not racist themselves. Most white people that are racist are ignorant to the culture and backgrounds that other people have. Typically these white people don't even like other white people for various reasons (example, a Southern White Person hates Northern White people and calls them "Yankees", the Northern White Person hates Southern White people and calls them "Red Necks"). They are scared of new and different things and they feel that makes them superior to black people. Thankfully, most white people don't think this way, unfortunately enough of them do that it makes many black people believe that we are all racist. (I promise WE are not!) Ask yourself (or a white person) this question the next time that anyone makes a racial comment to you or one of your friends/loved ones. Why are you better then me? We are both human beings, and if you are so ignorant that you believe the color of your skin makes you more superior then myself, then why did God create so much diversity on the planet? Every race, culture and civilization on Earth has contributed a tremendous amount of knowledge, wisdom, and innovation to our current way of life. Without all of this diversity, the world be a very boring place.

What are real life examples of propaganda techniques emotional appeal stereotyping transfer namecalling bandwagon cardstacking loaded words?

Many things around us is propaganda, we may just not see it. Not only obvious cases like during world wars 1 and 2, when propaganda was used to manipulate, for example, the people of Germany to think that the Jews were the enemy, and all women had to stay home and take care for the family, while the men provide, saying this is what would help their economy rise up. Propaganda is used in advertising, using popular figures in society or guilting us into altering our view on that product or idea, like for example, and advertisement of this poor girl in northern Africa crying, just her face, her eyes the main focus, with this picture, people feel guilt in their hearts, realizing how much they really have. This persuades them to donate money a lot easier than some terrible picture where no guilt is driven. Hope this helps!

Is the Bible a book of propaganda?

The Bible is partly a collection of important religious works, but undoubtedly the Old Testament is partly a book of propaganda. It begins by justifying aggression on the part of the Israelites, and continues with legends of nation-building and stories that build national pride for the people of Judah. Although archaeologists say that there is no evidence that the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah were ever united as part of a United Monarchy, it builds a case for the Jews to justify 'recovering' the lost territory of Israel. The Book of Esther is not a religious book at all, and does not even mention God. In the words of Martin Luther, it "lionises the Jews", but after all it was written by a Jew. Religious propaganda can also be found, for example in the Book of Daniel. What rational person would believe that the hated enemy of the Jews, Nebuchadnezzar, would eat grass like oxen and then, on recovering from this mischief, worship and praise the Jewish God (Daniel 4:33-4)? This passage so obviously was written as a mocking reference to humiliate Nebuchadnezzar in the eyes of its readers.

What would be an example of propaganda?

Propaganda is different than persuasion. A propagandist is only interested in achieving his goals. Persuasion involves a dialogue between two parties. If I'm attempting to persuade you, I make my goals clear, state my case, listen to your concerns, adjust my goals as necessary, etc. Ideally, both sides win. That's not the case with propaganda, which is one-sided with the goals of the propagandist concealed. A propagandist attempts to achieve his goals at all costs.

Where was 'the troubles' in Ireland taking place?

The troubles mainly took place in Northern Ireland. There were some incidents in the Republic of Ireland and in Britain, though these were rare. Incidents during the troubles were sporadic, not daily open combat as often perceived. So even in Northern Ireland, there could be days or weeks or even months between incidents. As they took place in different parts of Northern Ireland, an individual place might not have an incident for a very long time and some parts never had one. Incidents were more common in areas of higher population, so the bigger towns and cities, like Belfast and Derry.

Was the fighting in Dublin?

If your are referring to the troubles in Northern Ireland, then the answer is no. A number of incidents did happen, most notably some bombs on the 17th of May 1974 that exploded in Dublin city centre, and which killed people, but in general the activity was mainly in Northern Ireland. The nature of the troubles in Northern Ireland, was not open warfare. It was all incidents, like an individual being shot and then absolutely nothing would happen for days or even weeks, before another incident. It was not like a regular war.If you are referring to other incidents in Irish history, like the 1916 Easter Rising, then there was fighting in Dublin.
