the layers of the earth
1. lithosphere
2. crust
3. upper mantle
4. lower mantle
5. outer core
6. inner core
The earth has many layers. Deep inside, we first have the core which is divided into two parts the outer core and the inner core. Next is the mantle. Last of all, is the crust where we live.
Going from outermost layer to innermost layer, the order is as follows: Crust Mantle Core Inner Core
The Earth's crust includes everything we know ON EARTH except for the Mantle, and core, and the elements of the mantle, and core.
There are three main layers of the Earth:CrustMantleOuter CoreThe crust includes dry land and the ocean floor. It is about 5-40 kilometers thick. Depending on where the location is. The thickest parts are under mountains and thinnest beneath the ocean. The crust beneath the ocean is called oceanic crust, it contains rocks that are called basalt. Continental crust forms the continents and mainly consists of rocks like granite.Next, is the mantle. It is made up of rock that is very hot, but solid. It is about 3,000 kilometers thick. The mantle is divided into three layers. (Highest layer to the lowest layer.)Lithosphere: The lithosphere is the uppermost layer of the mantle and is very similar to the crust. In Greek, it means "stone." The lithosphere is about 100 kilometers thick.Asthenosphere: The asthenosphere is hotter and is under increasing pressure. It is softened by the heat and is somewhat soft. It can bend like plastic, but is still solid. In Greek, it means "weak."Lower Mantle: It is beneath the asthenosphere and is solid. The material reaches all the way to the Earth's core. The core is separated into two parts: The outer and inner core.Outer Core: It is molten metal that surrounds the inner core. It is liquid.Inner Core: The inner core is a dense ball of solid metal. The pressure is so strong that iron and nickel can't spread out and become liquid.
The coolest layer is the crust. The crust is on the surface of the earth (where we are). The further you go down the hotter it gets, the inner core that is at the center of the earth is as hot as the surface of the sun!
crust, inner core, outer core, and mantle
There are three main layers based on composition: the crust, the mantle, and the core. There are numerous physical layers. See the link below.
The layers of the Earth are the inner core, the outer core, the mantle, the crust, and the atmosphere. The layers of the atmosphere are the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, ionosphere, and exosphere.
Inner core (probably solid); outer core (probably liquid); mantle, crust.

It seems like it is a question from a book. but the answer is FALSE. It is the crust, not the core
The kayer that protects life on Earth is the Crust. All the layers together are the Crust, Mantle, Outer Core, and Inner Core.
Yes the planet has layers like earth and i believe it has less layers than earth but what the name of the layers arre I'm not quite sure. The layers of Venus are just like Earth's layers. There all the same thing. The layers are: crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core.
