From what I have seen in Southern California, illegal aliens work in the handyman/day worker industry. There are many who say the industry that employs the most illegal workers is the farm industry. In many states, the illegal immigrants work in the garment industry, and domestic positions.

It depends on the laws of the country. Most countries will not allow illegal aliens to work.
um thats illegal...
It is illegal for illegal aliens to work in the U.S., but most of them are not sitting at home eating bon-bons. They are working, illegally. But how does an illegal alien start a business? Other than growing vegetables in the garden or a farm, he most likely needs a partner who can operate a business and report income tax. He would most likely have a contract that only (1) he, (2) his partner, and (3) his lawyer knows. In this contract they will stipulate how much he contributes in capital, the tax will be paid by his partner, and how they will distribute the income. There is nothing illegal to have a contract like this. His partner will then run the business according to their agreement, and the business will make or fail depending on its own merit. The illegal alien cannot legally work even in his business, but most illegal aliens are not sitting at home eating bon-bons. There you have it.
NO! Most of them work "under the table" or with a stolen identity. Usually 1/2 the money they get for working is sent back to their country to help smuggle more illegals into the country... Nice huh?
In the modern day, slavery is universally illegal, so none.
There is a bit, but it is not as high as many reports say. Illegal aliens tend to take jobs that most Americans wouldn't do anyway. They are often hired for tedious manual labor, such as picking strawberries or tomatoes. The average American would do that job for a day, see how much work it was for the amount of pay, and step back into the unemployment line the very next day.
Illegal Aliens are illegal, because in order to be legally present in the United States of America, one needs to either 1) have been born in the U.S., 2) been born to American parents, 3) become a naturalized US citizen, that is a person may have been a foreign national, but met the legal requirements to become a US citizen after an extended period of legal residence in the U.S. or 4) have a valid visa in your passport. Most illegal aliens enter the U.S. illegally without a visa or passport. They simply walk across our border, typically our southern border with Mexico, but some to enter illegally via Canada or by boat from the Caribbean or another foreign country. Slightly less than half illegal aliens arrive in the U.S. with a tourist visa, they then overstay their visa and work in the U.S. illegally, although they promised to not do so, when they applied for a visa at the U.S. Consulate, when they obtained their U.S. visa. All illegal aliens are breaking the U.S. Immigration Law and disrespecting our country's laws and culture, which encourages all to abide by the Rule of Law.

Tough question, I will do my best.Undocumented aliens are often taken advantage of by businesses. Employers will pay illegal aliens a very low wage because the employer knows that the illegal alien cannot use the legal system to protect his rights. By helping illegal immigrants obtain citizenship or at least a work visa or green card, we can help keep wages up for everybody. The bad aspect of allowing formerly illegal immigrants to obtain a legal status would allow lawbreakers to flout the law. We do not want to encourage people to come here illegally.ADDED: (in the US) There are NO legalization regulations for undocumented aliens.
Most people work in the service industry.
