Marijuana has many, usually negative impacts on a person's body and state of mind. Smoking marijuana lowers testosterone levels in men and estrogen levels in women. Basically, it makes men more feminine and women more masculine (eek!) It also apparently causes psychological addiction to it, rather than a physical addiction like other drugs, such as cocaine. On top of these risks, the smoking of the marijuana itself has negative impacts on your lungs, although the impact of the smoking itself is actually has fewer negative effects on your body than commercial cigarettes (in short, smoking marijuana is healthier for your lungs than smoking cigarettes). The smoking of marijuana also kills brain cells, like many other drugs. Brain cells do not repair/grow back, so you are basically making yourself stupid. It causes chronic fatigue, excess hunger, and a generally cloudy mind. It also greatly slows your reaction time, similar to being intoxicated due to alcohol.
