What influenced the Holocaust was Germany losing in World War One. Germany had to sign a peace treaty (most peace treaties are created after wars) after World War One. The peace treaty required Germany to pay back all the casualties caused in World War One. After the treaty was signed Germany's economy was bad. Hitler wanted Germany to have pride in their nation (also known as nationalism). Hitler saw that Jews were taking all the professional jobs such as doctors and scientists. So Hitler first blamed the economy on Jews and caused the Jews to have poor jobs. Next Hitler wanted emergency war actions so Germany could act fast. As Hitler's power increased the nationalism increased and the Jews, handicapped, mentally challenged and many others died or lived very poorly.
