The answer is simple. Puberty causes sexual development. And puberty is caused by hormones. Those are your testosterone and estrogen hormones. Males and females all have testosterone and estrogen. Some more than others and some less than others. That all depends on your development while in your mother's womb. Estrogen causes females to develop breasts, and make your voice higher, and their monthly periods. Testosterone causes hair to develop in males and females. It also causes males to make their voices deeper, and help make their genitals grow. And testerone and estrogen are caused by a gland in your brain called the pituitary gland. When you hit a certain age, that's when your pituitary gland becomes active and releases these hormones to cause arousal and development. The pituitary gland also has ALOT to do with arousal along with testosterone.

What kind of function is sexual arousal?

Sexual arousal of any type is designed to perpetuate the race. In effect, it is one of the primal functions nestled deep within the Human brain as well. The exact function of arousal is first to send a message to the rest of the body that there is a chance for sexual intercourse. The body will then stimulate secondary processes to facilitate this, like increasing body temperature, musky scent, making the lips swell slightly, and otherwise "signal" prospective partners of your intentions. Sexual arousal is also a tool used by the brain to get people to have intercourse. Because people like to have sex, they will, and then there is a chance for a pregnancy. If people like it, they will do it more often, increasing the chances for a pregnancy again.

What controlled human growth and sexual development?

Human growth and sexual development are primarily controlled by the endocrine system, specifically by hormones such as growth hormone, testosterone, and estrogen. These hormones regulate processes like cell division, tissue growth, and the development of secondary sexual characteristics. Genes also play a significant role in determining the timing and rate of growth and development.

If a female narcissist really has no feelings what enables them to become sexually aroused?

Sexual arousal is not based upon emotional feelings for some people. Sexual arousal is merely a physical characteristic, displaying the desires of the human body to reproduce in the way that it was designed to do so. Some women who are raped are sexually aroused. There was no emotional attachment, but it was simply the bodies response to the actions of the rapist. It can not always be controlled.
