Magic pixie dust.
because salt makes the ice colder allowing the ice cream to freeze faster!
Cream or milk.
the cream
yes ice cream does melt faster than frozen yogurt because it has ice and cream in it that makes it melt faster and frozen yogurt has yogurt in it which makes it thicker and since its frozen it makes it even more thicker so ice cream does melt faster than frozen yogurt.thats why ice cream is faster melt than yogurt.
salt
It freezes faster when it's hot, because the water precipitation makes the volume the water takes up less, thus allowing it to freeze faster. -Zero (Black ops user)
Why would you? I mean it's so disgusting! Only a weirdo would do that! It probably taste bitter and not so sweet. My advise DON'T DO IT!! :( A pinch of salt in anything sweet makes it taste better. You don't taste the salt. But in the case of ice cream, salt is sprinkled over the ice in an old fashion ice cream freezer to make the ice colder and make the ice cream freeze faster. I can't explain how salt makes the ice colder but it does.
The salt makes some of the ice melt (by reducing its melting temperature). The mixed ice/water/salt is now several degrees below the normal freezing temperature of water and causes the ice cream miix to freeze faster.
Cold air and hot water makes water freeze faster simply because the hot water is steaming and so the result is that there is less water to freeze. hot water = steam = less water less water = faster freeze cold air = faster freeze
Yes because lemonade has lemon and lemon makes a tart taste usually which will make it freeze slower unlike water which doesnt have any tartness in it so water will freeze faster then lemonade. please give me trust points.
Salt acts as an antifreeze, reducing the melting/freezing point of the ice. This makes the salt & ice freezing mixture much colder than that of ordinary ice, causing the ice cream to freeze faster and with smaller crystals. An ice cream with smaller crystals feels smoother and creamier in the mouth.I use a compressor ice cream maker, which requires no salt & ice mixture as it has a built in electric powered freezer.
