He was the lead singer and only did vocals

Unsure, but I believe it was called 3 Tears, as he said that is where his name originated from. I believe he and Charlie Scene were in it, before joining Hollywood Undead

Johnny Three Tears raps and might play some string instruments.
He was kicked out of the band due to musical differences and disagreements with the rest of the band. when the band wanted to stay on tour, Deuce wanted to go in the studio. Deuce also took credit for writing allot of songs in 'Swan Songs' which he didn't. also when they played live, they had to play with a backing track for his vocals, he wasn't confident live, he was really in a band which he wasnt comfortable with and tried taking too much credit. he was kicked out in early 2010.
I know that Sirius XM Octane plays some of their newer stuff, like "Levitate," "Hear Me Now," and "Been To Hell," and a few of their older songs like "Undead" and "Young," but that's it. I don't think I've ever listened to another station that played them.
J-Dog and Charlie Scene play guitar and rap, J-Dog also does piano Da Kurlzz plays electric drums and screams and raps Shady Jeff isn't in it anymore but he talked and screamed Deuce got kicked out, but he did bass and lead vocals and rapping Funny man (AKA King Kong) raps
Deuce sings all the of the chorus and anytime you hear singing(NOT rapping) its most likely Deuce, unless it's in the song This Love, This Hate, because Deuce sings and raps that WHOLE song. Deuce also writes the music and he writes the chorus'... All the others with the exception of Da Kurlzz, rap. Da Kurlzz does most of the screaming but sometimes J-dog does some screaming as well. Da Kurlzz does percussion, and J-dog and Charlie Scene play guitar on some songs....J-dog also does keyboard. as far as writing, like i said Deuce writes the music and he writes the chorus...then he works with the others, because they write their own verses...its a group effort and they all are very talented... hope this helped.
