You can purchase a network card that has wireless capabilities or you can get one that is wired. Some cards have memory of 11, 54 or 100Mbps which will effect the speed.
Apple's Airport and Airport extreme are standard Wi-Fi network interfaces. You will need a Wi-Fi network card on a PC to connect to them. A standard Ethernet network card connects with Ethernet cabling and does not work with Wi-Fi.

The Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) uses Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. 1 (DSS1) protocol interfaces to connect subscribers to the network. These are User-to-Network (UNI) interfaces. Signalling System No. 7 (SS7) is a suite of signalling protocols used in Network-to-Network (NNI) interfaces. These are connections between network elements within the ISDN.

You simply install and start web server software. That software opens port 80 and starts listening for HTTP network requests. You can then connect to that port using the address 127.0.0.1. Note that you must have at least some network hardware available for this to work in Windows. It is not enough, in Windows, to have a network card, the card must be attached to something. If you have a wireless network card, enabling that card will enable the entire network infrastructure and make the network available; but if you have a wired card, you must connect it to a router, even if the router is not connected to anything, or you must download a "network loopback driver" from Microsoft.
A Network Interface Card or NIC. Most Motherboards have Network Interfaces built in already. (RJ-45) Nowadays it's not necessary to use those. They sell USB adapters for both Ethernet and Wireless connections.
Sanyo camcorders have plenty of firewire interfaces. They are available at an affordable price.
