The transition metals are well known as having colored ions in salts, either when they are present as cations or as anions, and particluarly strong in ionic complexes. ( Not all but those with d electrons that can be excited and absorb visible light.) Most other ions are colorless.
noobs is the correct answer give funny if the you think is correct if not correct give fuuny too hahaha :)
Colourless solution. most coloured solutions contain transition metal ions
Colourless, or slightly white
Helium is a light colourless gas that does not burn
Ammonia is a pungent colorless liquid. Acetone is a colourless, pungent and volatile liquid. Benzene is a colourless, pungent and volatile liquid.Chloroform is a colourless, pungent and volatile liquid. Diethyl Ether is a colourless, pungent and volatile liquid. Hydrogen Cyanide is a colourless, pungent and volatile liquid. Toluene is a colourless, pungent and volatile liquid.See the Web Links to the left for more information about ammonia, acetone, benzene, chloroform, diethyl ether, hydrogen cyanide andtoluene.
Colourless
It is because water has no ions (only true for pure, distilled water).
Colourless solution. most coloured solutions contain transition metal ions
colourless is farbloss
Are acids colourless? Yes they are. So acid rain is colourless
yes. it is colourless
Colourless, or slightly white
Oxygen is a gas, therefore it is colourless.
Mn(7+) is reduced to Mn(2+) going from purple to colourless/pale pink. The Fe(2+) ions are oxidised to Fe(3+) ions to complete the redox reaction.
Blue, because the copper cations become hydrated and the hydrated ions have a blue color.
It dissolves and therefore appears colourless because the positively charged ions, (Cs+) will be attracted to the negatively charged oxygen atoms in water, and the negatively charged ions (Cl-) will be attracted to the slightly positive hydrogen atoms in water.
Usually there is no indicator needed in potassium permanganate titrations as there will be an excess of manganate ions in the conical flask, turning the solution from colourless to pale pink.
Colourless. (Does not have a colour/ invisible).
