The idea of an effective homepage came about when people started using "splash" pages or loading pages the next page served after the splash became the effective homepage as the actual homepage served no real purpose (excepting entertainment)

The most cost effective way to print large documents is to print them out on your home computer or at the office. If you do not have a printer at home or in the office you can print them off at Staples for 15 cents a page.
If you are refering to the translation home page is "page d'accueil".
Although I don't have too much expieriance in this field, I believe a homepage is just a single page of one website. A web page is the literall website. If you try and image it like a book, a home page is like the writing in the book, the big bold letters at the top of the page, while a web page is the actual page in the book, the page that holds everything together. Hope that helps!
briefly explain the home page
a web page is located inside a home page
A home page for a website is the very first page - the landing page. So, for example, Google's home page is google.com, and the home page for this site is answers.com. A home page for a browser is the page you choose to load first when you open the browser - it can be anything you want it to be. For example, my browser of choice is FireFox. FireFox by default has it's home page set to mozilla.com, so every time I open FireFox it opens on mozilla.com. If I want to, I can change this to open google.com when FireFox opens. You can find out how to change your browser's home page by visiting your favorite browser's website and looking up the instructions.
