そこに居たい /so ko ni i tai/ technically is Japanese for 'want to be there', but to my experience sounds more like 'want to stay there' since 'iru' (居る) can mean both 'to stay' and 'to be'. It's not wrong though. Usually sentences with parallel meanings are used in different languages but not with exact same word structure. I would say 'soko e ikitai' (lit: I want to go there)

"I love Japan" would be 日本が大好きです (nihon ga daisuki desu) in Japanese. However, this is quite formal. The more casual alternative would be 日本大好き (nihon daisuki).
