My calcuator rounds it off to 1.2676506 X 10^(30). or ~ 1,267,650,600,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 I assume you are expressing a number in the Base 2 format. You have one hundred 1's. Now if you would add +1, the number would become 1 followed by one hundred zeros. In the Base 2, this would be expressed by = 2 ^(100). Calculate that number and subtract 1 and you will have the answer to your original question. I think the exact number is 1 267 650 600 228 229 999 999 999 999 999(base 10) However, if the calculator dropped the last 15 digits then this is only accurate for the first 11 decimal places.
