Which of the following could result from the fusion of carbon with itself?

The fusion of carbon with itself can result in the formation of various isotopes, such as carbon-12, carbon-13, and carbon-14. These isotopes differ in the number of neutrons in their nucleus but have the same number of protons, which is 6. Carbon-12 is the most common and stable isotope of carbon.

What is wrong with drinking water with electrolytes?

Nothing- the amount of electrolytes are usually very small. Say for example a litre of bottled still water has 23 mg of Sodium in it. Sodium is one of the 2 electrolytes in Salt, (sodium and cloride). You would have to drink a litre of that water to consume 23mg sodium. 23mg sodium (1 millimole (mmol)) is only 1% of the amount of sodium that would be allowed on a restricted salt diet for the treatment of say high blood pressure so that amount is fine to drink. We need to drink 1.5 litres water a day so there is no harm whatsoever in bottled water. If you look at potassium another electrolyte- if a litre water contains 10 mg potassium- this a 1/4 of a mmol of potassium. Potassium will not do you any harm at all. The only people who would have to be careful of potassium are those with kidney failure. But for those with kidney failure 10mg is so small that we would just count as a free drink. If you drink tap water the levels of electrolytes will vary. To know exactly the amount of electrolytes in your own water you would need to go to your Water Board and ask them if you were worried that there were very high levels of a particular substance in your water. Here in Ireland we have good quality water that people can drink. However last year the quality of water in the west of Ireland plummeted as Cryptosporium was found in the water. This is not an electrolyte but a serious bug that causes serious illness. Again it is back to the Water Board to sort this out. But back to your question- water with electrolyes is perfectly fine.
