You could use a proxy. There are many out there that can be used freely. Keep in mind that all the traffic will be readable by the people that run the proxy. If you want to play is safe set up your own. I have one @ home listening to port 21(ftp) because that port will be open on most company/school networks. You then can use a program like putty to have all the traffic forwarded with encryption so the sysadmins cant see what your doing, and off course change your browser setting so it uses the proxy you just set up.
