It looks like the first half of an equation.

If the full equation is "3y-7y^3=0" then you would need to solve for "y".

add 7y^3 to both sides

divide both sides by y

divide both sides by 7

You get 3/7 = y^2

take the square-root of both sides to get y = sqrt(3/7) or approximately 0.654
