The 8085 is an 8-bit microprocessor. Even though there are some 16-bit registers (BC, DE, HL, SP, PC), with some 16-bit operations that can be performed on them, and a 16-bit address bus, the accumulator (A), the arithmetic logic unit (ALU), and the data bus are 8-bits in size, making the 8085 an 8-bit computer.
One limitation of a 16 bit processor, compared to a 64 bit processor, is computing speed. A 16 bit process can process 2 bytes (8 bits = 1 byte) of information per clock cycle. While a 64 bit processor can process 8 bytes of information per clock cycle, making the 64 bit processor four times faster than a 16 bit processor.
Different pastes keep your processor cooler then others. In a way, yes it does effect the processor because the better paste you have the cooler your system will run which then will allow your computer to run at maximum speed.
