This law sucks This law really sucks. I would change it from "No Child Left Behind" - to - "All Children Shoved Through (ACST)" I had a girl in my 8th grade class last year that was absent about 33% of the time (illegal) and did absolutely no work (should have been retained in 8th grade) and failed every test given to her. I was told that, socially she needed to move to the 9th grade... even though she reads at a 4th grade level and can't do math above adding, subtracting and counting to 10.
