Open the database in Access 2007 and save as Access 2007 format.
The file extension for Microsoft Access 2007 is '.accdb'.
Access 2003 will not be able to open it properly. What you can do is open it in Access 2007 and save it in the 2003 format. If you do not have Access 2007, you will need to get someone else to do it for you. It may still lose some of the data and elements that are in Access 2007 but not in Access 2003.

File servers do those things. There are specialized servers as well, for example web servers, database servers, remote access servers, fax servers--the list goes on and on. But file servers are the backbone of providing access and managing files and who has access to what resources at which times.BTW. Access to the network is usually referred to as Authentication. And Rights or Security Management is usually what controls access to files, printers, and other resources.

Access 2007 has more tools to use and looks nicer but myself, I prefer access 2003 as most businesses use it and that's how I was taught
