I don't agree with it but, the expaination is similar to this: by culling the old and week it helps to control the amount of natural resource the rest need to survive. if they let the population go unchecked the food would run out!!!.. Like I said I think this is BS because the amount of food the culled animals would have eaten could not possibly starve the rest unless they cull half the population!!! The only reason I could see culling is if the animal has an untreatable, highly infectious disease. Some are culled because they are deemed a menace or danger to people. my response is: we are the menace. people and all wild animals have lived together for millenia and werent an issue then so why now is it one? because people can't control there sexual impulses thus the population is out of control so whos the problem?
"Only Elephant should wear ivory"
People are trying to stop cutting down trees, and trying to not kill the Asian elephant.
Once numbering in the millions, the African elephant population has dwindled to between 470,000 and 690,000 individuals according to a March 2007 estimate. The world population of Asian elephants -- also called Indian Elephants -- is estimated to be around 60,000. There are an estimated 500,000 African and 40,000 Indian elephants alive, including about 2000 total in zoo populations. A reduction in the illegal ivory trade would improve their chances of survival, as many are illegally killed by poachers each year. Habitat loss is another major threat in India and other Asian elephant countries. African- about 600,000 Asian- about 80,000
Because by saving one rhino, it can then go on to reproduce, and increase the rhino population. Also, saving one rhino stops the rhino population going down by at least one!

ZPG would help ensure saving resources for future generations.
if you save the grey wolf the wild rodent population will stay even
We can help the African lions in two ways.By preventing poaching and game huntingBy spreading awareness about the risk of extinction of these magnificent beasts and reduce habitat lossBy doing these, we would be able to sustain the numbers of lions in the wild and if it works out well, we may even see a rebound in the lion population in the wild.
