Alzheimer's Disese is where your brain is getting eatin away by a disese. You loose your memory, your common sense, and you normal life. Most people that have it live in an instatution. The heve HUGE mood swings. Its really sad!!!

As someone who watched a loved one lose their mind to Alzhiemers disease, I would say yes. I think one of the most difficult challenges for a person with memory loss is the social and psychological barrier to asking for help in remembering information. If a person had an online resource that could be taught to remember and retrieve say pictures of family and friends, one could ask daily to be reminded of who people are in daily life.
You need to talk to call the Ombudsman and report this if you have already spoken to the Director of Social Services or Dir. of Nursing or even the Admin. There is know reason your mother should be left in her Geri-chair or fallen out! If nothing changes I would suggest that you maybe look at different Longer term care facilities!
