Augustus Caesar was a good emperor. He did a lot of good things for Rome, although the Senate believed he overused his power. Therefore the Senate assassinated Casear. felicior Augusto, melior Traiano ("[be] luckier than Augustus and better than Trajan").
Hm, this doesn't sound like an original Roman coin. Traiano would refer to the emperor Trajan and he was born in 53 AD and died in 117 AD. However, this could not have been a roman coin because A) Arabic numerals were not used in the roman empire B) The system of using dates since Christ's birth for dates didn't start until about 530 AD and wasn't widespread until about 800 AD Without seeing your coin I can't really identify it further other than to tell you that it isn't an ancient Roman coin.

The Romans began to spread over the Italian peninsula during the fifth century BCE. The Roman Republic was transformed into an empire effectively in 44 BCE, and literally in 27 BCE. The Empire reached its height of expansion in 117 AD. At that time, the Roman territory reached from Scotland in the Northeast to the Euphrates River in Southwest Asia, encircling the Mediterran.ean Sea.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Empire
