Arbok is a purple Poison-type cobra (spelled backwards except for the "c") evolved from Ekans (backwards for "snake").

Elite 4 Agatha (the 3rd person, in Yellow version and Pokemon Stadium) uses an Arbok. Team Rocket member Jessie also uses an Arbok for stealing Pokemon.
