According to the website operated by Arubaboardwalk, the Aruba Caribbean was Aruba's first hotel/casino.

Specifically, Aruba Caribbean opened in 1959. Two years before, in 1957, the first cruise shop, the Tradewind, docked at the island. The Aruba Caribbean was recently restored by Radisson Resorts.
