Simply plug your camera feed directly into the input of the DVR system. These will be either RCA or BNC inputs. If your camera feed is a different format from the DVR's input, simply use an RCA-to-BNC adapter or a BNC-to-RCA adapter.

Can you fit a BNC connector to a Shielded twisted pair cable?

Twin BNC or twinaxTwin BNC (also known as twinax) connectors use the same bayonet latching shell as an ordinary BNC connector but contain two independent contact points (one male and one female), allowing the connection of a 78 ohm or 95 ohm shielded differential pair such as RG-108A.[6] They can operate up to 100 MHz and 100 volts. They cannot mate with ordinary BNC connectors. An abbreviation for twinax connectors has been BNO (Sühner).

What is the maximum length for BNC cable?

The BNC (Bayonet Neill Concelman) connectoris a very common type of RF connector used for terminating coaxial cable. There is no predetemined maximum length for the coax cable. The maximum length of cable is going to be governed by determining the input signal level, the minimum output signal level, and the signal loss based on the length of the cable between the input and minimum output.

What is BNC port?

A BNC was a video connection. It typically had 5 coax connectors (R,G,B + 2 more). I'm not sure what the additional 2 did. Possibly audio and control or something like that. As far as I know, these are not in wide spread use and no new monitor would need one. However, the company I work for is launching a new projector and we have a BNC connector on the back of it. So I suppose someone somewhere must use it.
