Dont know about 2007s, but my 2003 has had this problem since new. My dealer showed me a TSB (Tech Service Bulletin) that said the plastic nuts should have a small line if black RTV across the threads in one place which "glues" them onto the steel lugnut external threads. An independent brake mechanic once told me that he knew about this, and it was right, they should be RTVd on every time they are reinstalled, however he said that the red RTV is better because it was more temperature resistant than the black. BTW, Chevy replaced four of mine lost back when it was under warranty. Since then I have paid for replacing a couple more (not from Chevy parts Department though.) It is a really poor design. Carlos, a multiple hubcap looser!!

When I bought my 2007 in January 2008, the salesman that did the delivery walk-through told me the bluetooth functions do not currently work on any 2007s and will not work on the 2008s. He suspected BMW would release an upgrade kit . . . rather, he said the demand for this feature will force BMW to do something. I want to use the features too and found this website, which I am not affiliated with in any way . . . http://www.eurocarphone.com/ I'm a little worried about putting all those boxes and wires under the hood of my Mini, but this is the only one I've found that makes the bluethooth in the car work (or so they claim). All the other ones don't use the steering wheel buttons. mwill1993 says...I just bought my 2008 Mini with bluetooth and my blackberry works wonderfully - complete phone book is displayed on the dash and is just perfect. Reception is better than just holding the phone to my ear.

All Ford Rangers are gasoline-fueled (OK, a few are electric), none are diesel, yet many have block heaters. (IIRC, it was part of certain option "packages".) On my 1999 Ranger (4x4 w/ 3.0L V6), the block heater is installed (in a freeze plug hole) on the right (passenger) side of the engine, and the cord comes forward and is tucked up and stowed inside the right portion of the front bumper, low down, just outboard of the "cowl" opening that allows airflow to the radiator. (About where the right foglight is on the 2007s...) If you pop the hood and can't spot it from above, you may have to crawl under and get familiar with it. After you figure it out, you'll be able to just reach under blindly and grab it out. IIRC, it may have some kind of bungee-retraction thingy. My heater isn't needed in South FL, but I may start plugging it in once in a while, just to mess with the Greenie-weenie Prius neighbors... I'll tell 'em my Ranger generates "excess energy", and I'm selling it back to FP&L... LOL! ;')
