It continues the story of the romance between the human, Bella Swan, and the vampire, Edward Cullen. In Breaking Dawn, Bella and Edward get married and Bella becomes pregnant with a half human, half vampire baby. In the process of giving birth to the baby Bella nearly dies, which leads to Edward turning Bella into a vampire to save her.
