But, in Season 7 (the last one) we find out that the world is full of Potential Slayers, that is, girls that COULD be the next Slayer and get Slayer powers if the curre…nt one, Buffy, dies. The Big Bad (villain of this season) is the First Evil, an intangible creature that wants to rid the world of Slayers by killing all the Potentials, and then kill Buffy, so with no one to replace her, the Slayer line will end forever. Buffy, Spike, Anya, Xander, Giles, Dawn, and the Potentials go to Sunnydale High School with weapons to fight an army of ubervamps (super strong vampires) beneath the school.
