The Burj Dubai is going to be the tallest skyscraper in the world.

It already holds the world record for being the tallest man made structure ever, and it's not yet finished.

It is currently under construction in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. With an intended final height of 818 m (2,684 ft) it will be almost double the height of the Empire State Building (443m, 1453 ft) Burj Dubai has been designed to be the centrepiece of a large-scale, mixed-use development that will include 30,000 homes, nine hotels, (7.4 acres) of parkland, at least 19 residential towers, the Dubai mall, and the 12-hectare (30-acre) man-made Burj Dubai Lake.
