This is a generic O2 Sensor code, usually used on right bank
Trouble code P0135 means:O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
Trouble code P0135 means: HO2S Heater Performance Sensor 1
Code P0135 means: Front HO2S Heater circuit Fault (Sensor 1)
The check engine light stays on when the engine computer has detected a malfunction and set a trouble code.

A scan tool or code reader is required to read the trouble codes on a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country.
Chrysler used to bracket all outputs through the "Check Engine" light with a code 12... it indicated the start of the sequence and the end.

P0135 -- Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction This does not necessarily mean the O2 sensor is bad. It just means it is being effected. Odds are it is bad especially if the car has over 50,000 miles on it.
The Chrysler Cirrus did not come out until 1995. You reset the check engine light with a scan tool or by unhooking the battery. If you have not repaired the cause of the code the light will come back on.
