Yes. so long as you are prescribed it.
yes..i was prescribed and am taking celexa, welbutrin, and concerta all together celexa and welbutrin for depression concerta for adhd...
if you take concerta and stop and have to take a drug test two days later, will concerta show up at all.
If both drug are prescribed for the same person, yes they can be taken together.
Yes, you can. There is no reason you can't unless you take more than the prescribed milligram.
Yes concert (methylphenidate) will show up as amphetamines, but don't worry about it if you are prescribed it.
Concerta's highest strength tablet available is 54mg. The actual maximum dose that a person (age 13-17) might be prescribed by a physician is 72 mg/day (not to exceed 2mg/kg/day).
Although weight does play a part in the dosage prescribed it is not a huge influence, a woman weighing 127 pounds would usually get prescribed a dose of 18/27mg, however if the symptoms were more severe for whatever condition concerta is taken for then the dose may be in the upper limit of 36/54mg
No, it's actually quite the opposite. Benzodiazepines are prescribed for anxiety, and generally calm the patient down substantially, decreasing anxiety and making sleep easier. Concerta is a psychostimulant, meaning it "speeds you up", which can increase anxiety, cause mild hypertension, and make it extremely difficult to sleep. In slang, Benzodiazepines are "downers" and Concerta is an "upper", if that helps.
Only if it has been prescribed, and you told your DR all relevant information when it was prescribed. If you have concerns about your medication talk to your DR soon
Well I recently got re- prescribed concerta after being off it for a few years. I smoke weed once in a blue moon and let me tell you this! For me, presonally, weed and concerta are amazing!! That first time I smoked while on concerta my brain went nuts. I had a ridiculous urge to start learning things, I also Discovered I had a hidden talent for drawing haha my motivation and interest in everyday life increased amazingly But yeah to be honest with you I find that weed makes the concerta work in ways you just have to experience for yourself.
My Son has tourettes and tics, but both have been very minimal in the past few years. He feels he needs something to help his ADHD so his Neurologist (World Renoun) has prescribed 18mg of Concerta. I'm confused, as the warnings specify "not to be used with patients having touretts & tics.
