United Airlines has five airport hubs in the United States. With the recent United-Continental merger, the Continental hub of George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, has become the company's largest airport hub (though most of those flights fly under the Continental logo).
Well Continental has its largest hub in Houston, so if you went to Houston Intercontinental you would most likely fly that. However, if you were going to Houston-Hobby you would fly Southwest.
As of April 2011 United Airlines is not in Bankruptcy and is merging with Continental Airlines to become the world's largest airline. There is no doubt that some people will either be laid of or when people retire, they will not be replaced. There is also doubt as to Cleveland surviving as a hub in the longer term.

The announcement was made about a combined merger; to become the largest airline in the world. It will run under the name of "United" and will be run by the CEO of Continental.
Cincinnati is a large hub for Delta Airlines, and they serve much of the east and mid west, and some international destinations. Though other airlines such as US Airways, United, Continental, etc fly there.

The holding company for the new entity will be named United Continental Holdings, Inc. and the name of the airline will be United Airlines. The marketing brand will be a combination of the brands of both companies. Aircraft will have the Continental livery, logo and colors with the United name, and the announcement campaign slogan will be "Let's Fly Together." The new company's corporate and operational headquarters will be in Chicago and it will maintain a significant presence in Houston, which will be the combined company's largest hub.
