Control panel lets you set up settings for your computer, such as when your screen saver will come on and at what percentage of battery your laptop will shut off at. Check it out for yourself by clicking on start, and then either typing in control panel or clicking on it.

Start->Control Panel->All Control Panel Items->User Accounts-> you will have 4 options...
open the Folder Options applet in Control Panel and click the Viewtab of the Folders Options box.
Control panel > Folder options.
start---settings---control panel---power options or start---run then type in "powercfg.cpl" (without the quotes) and click "ok"

Go to 'Control Panel" then to Power options. It is in there.
To do this go to search>control panel>system> then navigate through the options there. This may depend on your OS but this is for Windows.
