The second saga tells us more about dragonball zeron

After defeating Xicor, Piccolo tells The Z fighters to wish him back. But there were no dragonballs. So dende makes new dragonballs which can grant 3 wishes and can bring back someone that has not died 3 times. Piccolo died once, so he was brought back. It was a new dragon. It's name was Shenron junior, which looks a lot like shenron, but the dragon is white in colour. The Z fighters wished Piccolo back up on dende's look out. Piccolo says that he has to go, and goes inside the hyperbolic time chamber to train. Meanwhile in Hell, King Cold discovered that there were red drinks called ''suta'' guarded by the working men in Hell. It is said that if a person drinks it, he will change and become even stronger. King Cold, Frieza, Cooler, Cell, and King Cold's younger brother Yougirou attacks the working men and steals 10 ''suta's''. The three brothers whom sent Xicor to earth creates a portal from the Hell dimension to the Planet Zets [King Cold's birthplace]. The villians then flee to their own planet. King Cold was ordered to go to earth and collect the new dragonballs. King Cold, on his way to earth finds Xicor injured above earth. They put Xicor in the healing capsule and inform their three masters, lord Zerons. They tell King Cold to make Xicor collect all the dragonballs. Their spaceship lands on earth. They tell Frieza and Cooler to go and lure the Z fighters to fight them [thinking that Frieza and Cooler are even stronger than anyone on earth], whilst Cell guards the spaceship, and King Cold, Yougirou and Xicor look for the dragonballs. The Z fighters hadn't finished their wish so the dragonballs haven't scattered yet. Frieza and Cooler attack a city and the Z fighters sense it. Piccolo comes out of the hyperbolic time chamber smiling. He says that he will go and fight Frieza and Cooler. Even Goku realizes that Piccolo has somehow gained new powers. So Goku allows Piccolo to go. Goku and Gohan stayed and looked after Dende. Piccolo and Vegeta went to face Frieza and Cooler. Frieza was suprised to see the Namekian that he almost killed, and the Saiyan that he had killed. Piccolo said that he will fight Frieza, and tell Vegeta to handle Cooler. Frieza and Cooler have already drank the ''suta'', and have gained incredible strength. Frieza showed one of his techniques, creating a portal to a dimension with mystical islands. Piccolo follows Frieza. Piccolo shows his new powers. Piccolo had gained a power called the Namekian mode which makes purple lines on Piccolo's face, and makes him even stronger than Majin Buu was. Frieza went 100% and was just as powerful as Piccolo was. Piccolo then used a technique which released Kami and Nail out of him. The three of them were just as strong as Piccolo was before he released them. Nail fought an evenly battle with Frieza, Kami telling Nail the greatest strategies. Frieza was able to use a clone technique, making 6 Frieza's which it will make 2 on 1 X 3 each. Piccolo, Nail, and Kami defeated and killed all the Frieza's. But all of them were just fake clones. The real one had got away. Meanwhile back on Earth [the real dimension], super saiyan Vegeta and cooler were going all out. Vegeta realized that Cooler's energy was growing 5 minuets by 5 minuets. The Cold family was special at using 5 minuets techniques. Super saiyan Vegeta soon realized that he was outclassed and turned into a super saiyan 2. Still, after 15 minuets Cooler's power had grown beyond Vegeta's. Then, Vegeta demonstrated the roots of his training by transforming into a super saiyan 3. he defeated Cooler. But then, Cooler transformed into his final state, giving him the upper hand. Cooler now was even stronger than Piccolo or Frieza. Cooler broke Vegeta's arm. Gohan decided to help Vegeta. Gohan turned into a super saiyan 3 and puched Cooler on the face. Cooler smashed the ground. Cooler got up an beat up Gohan. But then, Gohan turned into Mystic Gohan and defeated Cooler.

Cooler then used a technique where he summoned Meta Coolers that were in final form. Gohan was fighting an evenly battle with the Meta Coolers and Vegeta in his super saiyan 3 form helped a lot as well. Gohan then realised that no matter how much he beat up the Meta Coolers, they will always regenerate if the real one is alive. So Gohan used a kamehameha barrage hitting every 50 Meta Coolers. then, he was standing behind the real Cooler. The real Cooler tried to attack but Gohan fired a burst kamehameha wave before him and Cooler died, so did all the Meta Coolers. Piccolo arrived from the mystical dimension and the three great fighters raced back to Dende's lookout. Meanwhile in Dende's lookout, Goku was there picking up some strange energy. Below Dende's lookout were King Cold, Yougirou and Xicor. Xicor said that he will take revenge on Goku but King Cold slashed his sword at Xicor and he fainted. King Cold told Yougirou to take Xicor back to the ship and that he will face the Legendary Goku and get the dragonballs. King Cold went up to Dende's lookout to fight Goku. King Cold and Goku were preparing to fight. Goku turned into a super saiyan 4 and fought an evenly battle with King Cold. King Cold sealed some of Goku's powers into his sword which made Goku also faint. King Cold spared Goku and stole the dragonballs. King Cold, Frieza and Yougirou with Xicor left earth. Frieza informed earth's greatest fighters telepathically from his planet. Frieza told them to come to the Planets Zets because there will be a tournament. Frieza said that if the Z fighters win, they will get the dragonballs. But if the Z fighters lose, they won't get back the dragonballs. Trunks from the future came for a visit and decided that he will help Goku and his friends. Goten, Pan, Trunks from the past, and Bulla decided to stay and look after the earth in case of any disturbances. The Z fighters now go to the Planet Zets to determine the fate of the new dragonballs.
