Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA)is DNA found within a sub-cellular organelle called the mitochondrion. Interestingly, mitochondrial DNA is present as a loop, much like the bacterial genome. In addition, mtDNA does not contain any introns or non-coding sequences. mtDNA codes for proteins involved in the process of oxidative phosphorylation
Mitochondria have their own DNA.They have circular DNA.
Mitochondria have DNA in it.They have circular DNA.
Yes, there is DNA in mitochondria.
Two of the cellular organelles that have their own DNA are chloroplast and a nucleus. The mitochondrion also have there own DNA.
No mitochondria have no nucleus at all but it contains its own DNA(which resembles to bacterial DNA or genome).
The mitochondria have its own DNA. They are referred to as the powerhouse of a cell and are responsible for converting the energy from food into a form that cells can use.
Mitochondria have DNA and ribosomes. So they can synthesize protein.

Nucleus, chloroplast, mitochondria, plasmidsthe mitochondria and chloroplast.DNA is found in the nucleus.DNA is generally located in the nucleus of a cell. There is some DNA in the mitochondria although there is significantly more DNA in the nucleus. In animal cells, DNA can be found in the nucleus and mitochondria of cells. In plant cells, DNA can be found in the nucleus, mitochondria, and chloroplast.
DNA
It is thought that mitochondria were once bacteria as they have their own DNA and it is similar to bacterial DNA.
Mitochondria can replicate themselves. They have circular DNA.
Yes it is located in mitochondria.
They desend from bacteria. So they have their own DNA

In human cells, DNA is found in both the nucleus (in the form of chromatin) and mitochondria. In plant cells, DNA is found in both the nucleus (again, in chromatin),chloroplasts, and mitochondria. Fun fact regarding mitochondria; you inherit only your mother's mitochondria, and consequently, the same mitochondrial DNA. I hope this helps!
