∙ 14y agoIn layman's terms, how comfortable something is, and whether it will not damage a person's health in use, for example using a high-backed chair with elbow rest is much more ergonomic than a crappy wooden chair with a hard back.

1. chair should be at height which makes your legs to to 90 degrees or slightly more
2. screen should be about arm length away
3. screen height should be slightly below eye level
4. arm rests should be at height when you can rest your arms comfortable.
5. desk height should be slightly lower than your armrests
6. also sit back in your chair and do not slouch
7. take some breaks and walk around
8. don't forget to blink occassionally (seriously it helps your eyes a lot)
