Florida's climate varies on how north or south you are. In the North its dryer and cooler (it can get to the 30's) , in the middle its warmer, with muggy summers and cool winters, but warmer than in the north. The South is humid and hot and rainy.
The middle portion is the most pleasant in my opinion and the best time to go is in the fall or spring, i'd say spring because fall is hurricane season.
The southern tip is warm and during the season, rainy, as of hurricanes and tropical storms. It is mostly warm and sometimes humid year round.
