Garra is the kazakage's son. He has 2 siblings a brother and a sister.He sealed the spirit of the shikaku inside garra when his wife was still pregnant. He was "born a monster" when he was born he killed his mother on the way out. Garra lived as an outcast, only having one friend, his sensei (his mothers brother). As it turned out his father was only using him as an experiment. He ordered his brother in law to kill Garra when it became obvious that Garra was dangerous. he defeated his sensei easily as a toddler. His sensei told him that he was a monster and that he did not love him. And then blew himself up in a last attempt to kill garra. Garra's sand protected him. That was when he desided his purpose in life was to kill.

He got on a shinobi team with his siblings. They went to the hidden leafe village and compeated in the chunin exams. It turned out that it was a plot to destroy the village. He was defeated by naruto and realized that he should try to help people. Then worked hard to become the kazakage as he currantly is.
