The wages or penalty for sin is death. Once we are saved we are saved from that penalty even though we may sin. But there are consequences for our behavior or sin. (Proverbs 3:12)For whom the Lord loves he corrects, or chastise.
Sin's Penalty - 1916 was released on: USA: 15 April 1916
I think it depends on if you're religious and what religion you believe in. To different Gods they could be greater or equal. Points to look at to decide this are, how severe was the sin? how was it to forgive the sin? What penalty was given for the sin? Although looking at it from a different point of view, for example "law, crime and/or punishment" then some sins always look greater than others.
In Christianity it doesn't matter what sin you commit its the same as any other sin for example to lie is just as bad as murder in gods mind.
No it wasn't, the judgment for sin had already been given. The penalty for sin was paid at the crucifixion.
mortal sin
A reduced penalty for a sin
The penalty of sin is the memory of sin. but if you havent accepted the Lord into yoru heart then you will go to hell whether you sin or not, if you have accepted the Lord and you ARE Christian then you can go to heaven. but that doesnt mean that you can accept the lord and sin all the time. If you sin all the time then do you think that the Lord will be happy? (answer that yoruself) there isn't a "power" to sin PERSE. but i think that the power of sin will be sending you to hell or upseting God.
In hockey the penalty box is often referred to as the sin bin.
God does promise victory over sin. This is from the Bible.
There is only 1 God, He is Jesus. Praying to whatever you think is another God is a sin. "thou shalt not have any Gods before me" -commandment #1.
