If you mean being called to the ministry, then usually God leads more indirectly. You might get the sensation or feeling that preaching is what you must do. It is not quite an audible voice, but a strong "gut feeling." You may start feeling burdened for lost souls and feel compelled to help. The urge won't leave you alone and you may feel miserable until you finally surrender and accept the calling.
