A Greenlander, yes. But also a Inuit. In local, "Kalaaleq"
There were people native to Greenland prior to the early Viking Settlement. Generally speaking, these are referred to as Inuits. Modern Greenlanders however, are simply called Greenlanders (at least in English.)

Narwhals follow a specialized diet that's available to them within the narrowly defined geographic region of the Canadian to the Greenlander to the Russian Arctic. Within that region, they favor Arctic and polar cod, Gonatus squid, Greenland halibut, and shrimp. But they also accept wolffish, skate eggs, and capelin. They do not, however, eat goldfish.

Greenland is located in the Arctic so what could this country be? Rich or poor? Well this big, far-north island is filled with mostly Inuit people and since they're from Greenland they are called Greenlander people.(I'm serious. Greenlander is the actual truth. I am not kidding. That's what the people are actually called.) The country's population is 57,000. Halibut and shrimp fishing and tourism is in Green- land. The country also is rich in minerals and it's waters may contain hydrocarbon reserves. The setting resources is very similar to the other Arctic island Iceland, the other far north country in the Arctic Ocean. The Greenlander people which live in small isolated villages, the banking sector is not a huge amount. (Iceland does not have a huge banking sector, either.) Unfortunately, Greenland's cities and towns such as Nuuk(Greenland's capital city) there are no roads between the cities and the towns. Travel in Greenland is only possible by planes or boats. Here's an answer: Yes, Greenland is poor. It does not have that much money to afford some stuff. Since the country is in the arctic there is not much money.
Yes, narwhals have protective markings. The coloring of the narwhal fits in with its environment. It frequents the cold waters of the Canadian, Greenlander and Russian Arctic. So its body copies the dappled, filtered play of light through the water; and the presence of icebergs and ice drifts. Its body is marked with darker black and white mottling when recently born and becomes ever whiter with age.
