its bit difficult to explain... but i will try
its an object that holds a part of a humans soul, which kinda protects them from death, until someone destroys it.
in the Harry Potter series, voldemort useing horcruxes to hold his soul, and harry potter is out to destroy them, which gradually kills voldemort
Well if you think back to the 4th movie, Goblet of Fire. Voldermort took Harry's blood and used it to give himself a body. So Lily Potters protection was in both Harry's and Voldermorts veins. Voldermort had also made harry become a horcrux and so when voldermort killed harry, he killed the horcrux which kind of became a shield to harry so the horcrux was destroyed but harry wasn't. Hope this helps
No she didnt....Dumbledore tells Harry that he is a Horcrux
No, he didn't die because he was Horcrux. Had he not been a Horcrux the killing curse would have killed Harry, instead of just the Horcrux.
I guess you mean "Voldemort"? That's because Voldemort tried to kill Harry, but when he did, he actually made a Horcrux. Harry is the horcrux, but he is Harry as well. The Horcrux inside Harry gets killed in the last book.
Yes, the horcrux inside of Harry Potter
No, but the diary Horcrux, was destroyed.
Harry Potter was a wizard
No, it is not. Harry himself is a Horcrux, because Voldemort had rendered his soul so unstable by murdering so many people that the piece that had torn off with the murder of Harry's parents (Lily and James) latched onto the last living thing in the house, which just so happened to be Harry.
It depends what Horcrux your talking about, they do find them all and destroy them all though.
The Ring
