The two most popular forms of IQ tests for adults are the Weshsler Adult Intelligence Scale and the Stanford-Binet. The original creators of these intelligence scales: David Wechsler, Alfred Binet, and Lewis Terman were all leading psychologists in their field. Having an intimate knowledge of IQ tests, these authors would have likely had an unfair advantage in certain portions were they ever to take one themselves, so any scores obtained would have been rendered meaningless. However I'm going to go ahead and assume they were pretty intelligent.
However, having an intimate knowledge of the G laden portions of a IQ test would not give you any advantage in that part of the test. For instance, reaction time and reverse span randomized would give no one an advantage.
That would be like saying one has a intimate knowledge of walking. All can walk, but some do it more efficiently then others due to genetics and environment, which is well covered in the G portions of intelligence tests.
